Once you create your account in uMap, you may be prompted to complete a quick Onboarding Survey.
This short survey helps establish a baseline understanding of where employees are before beginning their uMap conversations.
Please Note:
A new user will only receive the onboarding survey if their employment date is more than 90 days ago and that date has been entered into the uMap system.
You Will Not Receive the Onboarding Survey If:
Your employment date is within the first 90 days, or
No employment date has been entered in uMap
Step 1:
Log in to your uMap Account.
If your employment date meets the criteria above, the onboarding survey will appear automatically.
The first question will ask:
“Are you a new employee within the last 90 days?”
If you select Yes, the survey will end, and you can move on to completing your Profile.
If you select No, you’ll continue to the next question.
Step 2:
The next question will ask:
“Do you have employees that report to you?”
Your answer determines which version of the survey you’ll complete:
If you select No, you’ll take the Team Member Survey.
If you select Yes, you’ll take the Manager Survey.
What Happens Next
Once completed, your responses will help establish a starting point for future growth and development conversations.
After you begin your uMap conversations, a Manager Effectiveness Survey will be sent post-conversation to provide ongoing insights and measure progress over time.
