Manager Request a Self-Reflection

Here's How It Works:

Step 1: Navigate to Direct Reports page

Log into your account (app.myumap.com) and click on the Direct Reports tab under My Profile. Find the team member you wish to initiate a conversation with. Click on Start Conversation.


Step 2: Select Template

A pop-up box will appear, where you can choose the option for the template you would like to use for this conversation. Choose the template and select Send to team member.

An automated email will be generated and sent to your team member with instructions for completing their self-reflection.


Step 3: Send Reminder (if needed)

If your team member needs a reminder to complete their self-reflection (or can’t locate the original email), you can resend the request. Go to the Direct Reports tab and click the pencil icon next to the relevant conversation. In the Conversation Settings window, you’ll have the option to click "Resend to all" or the envelope icon next to the individual’s name. This will trigger a new email from support@myumap.com with the link to complete their self-reflection.
