The Manager Effectiveness Insights gathers data from the Post Conversation Surveys that team members complete after coaching conversations.

View Manager Effectiveness Insights
Log into your account (app.myumap.com) and click on the Analytics tab -- and then the Manager Effectiveness Insights tab.
This report gathers the information from the Post Conversation Survey questions regarding the managers strengths and opporrtunities for growth based on their team member responses. This is only viewable to Administrators on your account.
Notice that the example above is selected to show Strengths.
The attributes are listed in order of their ranking. By clicking the Show Details tab, a list of all managers who have been recognized will be listed with a number next to their name. The number indicates how many times that attribute was chosen by a manager's direct report.
When you navigate to the Opportunities tab, you will see the same information, but this time the report is allowing you to see the attributes that are opportunities for growth for managers.
Helpful Tip:
When looking at the list of manager Strengths, recognize and celebrate your team members for leading in these ways. This information can be used to assign mentors to new team members or other managers may need support in someone's area of strength.

When toggling to the Opportunities tab, notice the areas of need. Be sure to use this information when communicating with your leadership team to create an action plan for helping your managers improve. That could mean offering a training, providing an opportunity to practice a skill in safe environment, or even creating a mentor program.
