Regular coaching conversations are necessary to assess growth and performance as well as support team members in their development. But sometimes, it's also necessary to check-in with a team member without having a full-blown performance conversation.
Here's How It Works:
Step 1: Create check-in question
Go to the Direct Reports tab under My Profile and find a team member to send a check-in question to. Click the Start Conversation button next to their name. A pop-up box will appear, where you can choose the option to Create a new check-in question.
Step 2: Send to Team Member
Type your question into the space provided. Click Send to team member.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your team member will receive an email asking them to complete the check-in question. After they've shared their comments, you'll receive an email informing you that they've finished, allowing you to view their comments and add your own.
