Regular coaching conversations are necessary to facilitate individual growth, development, and continuous improvement by providing guidance, support, and fostering a learning-oriented environment. But sometimes, it's also necessary to check-in with your manager without having a full-blown performance conversation.
From within the Conversations tab, you have the ability to create a custom question to check-in with your manager.
Important Note: This feature must be enabled by the company administrator.
Here's How It Works:
Step 1: Navigate to Conversations
Go to the Conversations tab under My Profile and select the button Start Conversation. A pop-up box will appear, where you can choose the option to Create a new check-in question.
Step 2: Start Conversation
Type your question into the space provided. Click Start my conversation.
Step 3: Send to Manager
The software will prompt you to comment on your check-in question. Once completed, select Submit my self-reflection.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your manager will receive an email notification informing them that you have started a check-in question and will have the opportunity to provide their comments. Once they're done, you'll receive an email notification prompting you to review your manager's comments.
